Minister of Science Dr. Sanja Damjanović is paying a visit to Banja Luka today, where she will take part in the Third International Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering – CMBEBIH 2019, as a special guest.

CMBEBIH 2019 is the largest and most important conference in this field in South East Europe. This year, it brought together more than 500 participants from 45 countries. The conference was supported by all the relevant international organisations from this field, such as the European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering & Science and the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering. Furthermore, the conference gathered business representatives in the form of a so-called Business Forum, placing a special emphasis on young people, which is why the conference included a Student Congress as well. Medical and biological engineering represent a fast-growing field of development and the conference aimed to provide a platform for exchange of information and innovative ideas, with the ambition to have an impact on the future development and creation of a joint vision.
